You can download and install the free Stuffit Expander (http://my.smithmicro.com/mac/stuffit/expander.html). After you download a Mac font (a sit file), first navigate to the folder where the sit file is. Hold down the Control key and click the file. In the context menu, choose Open With > Stuffit Expander. That will expand the sit file and give you access to the actual fonts.
